Hi, I'm Sue

As a working mum I’m used to juggling a hectic work schedule with family life.  Our home is always busy, with teenagers, school bags and sports equipment being traipsed through the house daily.

  

I know how easy it is to accumulate a lot of “stuff” over the course of everyday life and understand how stressful it is when things build up and we start to lose track of what we have and where things are - I’ve been there.

My Approach

I understand that making the decision to declutter and get organised can be a huge step for clients.  You may feel overwhelmed and unsure where to begin but that’s why I’m here!

  • I’ll encourage you to think about how you’d like your home to look and feel and will work with you to achieve this using a practical, tried and tested process.   

  • I’ll help you stay on track with the tidying as we work through the clutter and emotions, making the process as smooth as possible. 

  • I will never ask you to discard something you don’t want to but I will keep asking you questions about your possessions so that you know that you will love, need or use everything you keep.

  • I aim to limit the amount of discarded items that end up in landfill sites.  We'll look at options for repurposing storage, selling unwanted items, donating to charity and recycling.

  • As we work together I’ll teach you some new habits and skills to help you to keep your home organised.

  • My service is non judgemental, confidential, calm and practical. 

  • I'm based in Winchester and work throughout Hampshire, Wiltshire & Dorset.

Why I work with the KonMari Method™

The KonMari Method™ provides a practical framework for decluttering and tidying homes that produces visible results very quickly.  I love how the process encourages people to look at their possessions in a new way by asking whether items Spark Joy.  This really turned the tidying process on it’s head for me as I was so used to looking for items to discard rather than deciding which items I wanted to keep.  Having a home that’s full of possessions we love is a wonderful, happy outcome but I’ve also found the KonMari Method™ has encouraged me to apply the Spark Joy test to all areas of my life – I’m happier and healthier because of it.

​I was so inspired by how I felt once I’d finished tidying our home that I decided to become a KonMari consultant, combining it with my passion for organising and helping to spread the joy of living in a more simple and uplifting way.
